Well, I got out of Christchurch with $10 in my wallet and a huge complex about how much I'm spending. Tonight I'm camped in a playground by the side of the road - free. I did go for an ice cream in town.

It felt great to get off the big road. It was just straight out of Christchurch, and drizzly too. The weather got a little better but I've been in long sleeves the last four days [that] I've ridden.
