Yesterday - rode to Franz Joseph and walked to a viewpoint, it was just OK. Then I rode to Fox - WHAT A RIDE! All up and down and right and left. It was hard but very pretty. At the Fox I went for two beautiful walks through the rain forest. I got to see the wetlands, hike up stairs, along boardwalks in the swamp and underneath and through trees.

At night I went to "the" bar in Fox with everybody in my cabin, shot pool and drank beer. Afterwards I finally saw the glow worms! It was a grotto full of 'em. They are little points of blue light clinging to the moss and trees and walls. They live up to their hype.

Today - it's raining sheets!

It stopped raining in the afternoon and I went on three walks; all beautiful, all by the river and all in the rain forest. I went up Cone rock. It's about 30 minutes straight up, all stairs, but the view is worth it. It felt good not to ride today.
