Pretty fish and great people watching were what was going on today. We drove to what was advertised in our guide book as one of the best swimming beaches on the south shore and it turned out to be kinda busy, VERY calm water (the reef protected the beach from all the waves - which is probably why it's recommended for 'swimming' I guess...) and a little boring.

But then we noticed all the snorkels in the water. Hey I said, we've got Ken's masks and snorkels in the car, why not go get that sh_t and do likewise...? Good idea said Shelley, so off I went.

This was fun! The water was really shallow way out from shore so you were swimming around in 4-8 feet and there were a _lot_ of fish out and about. And the masks and snorkels worked great; thank you so much Ken!

Along with seeing all the brightly colored fish I also got to help Shelley find her ring after it slipped off of her finger. We actually found it on the bottom! That was cool. Especially since I gave it to her. :)

Martin: That night we walked to dinner and on the way home saw lots of toads.
