Training

As of about 1 September 2007 my training diary has moved to a blog. Why? Well, this way I can post entries more easily and from anywhere I have an internet connection. Plus, now people can finally comment on the entries. All very important stuff I know...

Why have a training diary?
You can only repeat history if you record it. Without facts about your past you can't plan for the future. Blah, blah, blah; but this isn't about you, it's about me. My training (or the lack thereof) anyway.

Here you can see how much Martin is slacking off or how much I'm putting my nose to the grind stone as it were. See what I'm doing on (and off) the bike, what I'm eating, how much I'm sleeping, or not. If you want to kick my ass on the next group outing, I suppose you'll be visiting these pages more than once...

Because I get asked about this quite a bit, here are some training basics in case you want some structure to your riding and some basic racing tactics if you want to understand what's going on and maybe race a little smarter.
