Workout Type: steady state with a couple of accelerations

Breakfast: big bowl of cereal at 7:30

Ride Food: Two Clif bars and a bottle of liquid food. Probably not quite enough...

Course: Jet City Velo team ride. Leschi - Renton - Coulon - May Valley - Ceder Grove - some lake road - Petrovitski - Renton - Rainier Ave. - Lake WA Blvd - Freemont - Dexter - Pike St.
Comments: Felt okay considering the amount I drank last night! 19 mph feels good, faster than that on the flats is an effort. It was the usual mellow cruise down to the Rainier Ave. sprint. Alan, Larry and I took off from here as the main group just wanted to ride Mercer Island. We took it easy all along May Valley (20 mph) and up Ceder Grove Rd. Later on there was one .5 - .75 mile hill that Alan went hard on. I was fine until half way up and then my legs just quit. It was lactic acid build-up, not lungs as I was not gasping for air or anything. Oh well, it's still very early and my bike weighs a ton.
Equipment: Lowered my saddle about 2-3 mm for this ride and I like it much better. I recall doing that on my Ti bike last fall and just forgot to do the same to this ride.
