Comments: I warmed up on the Burke Gilman for 30 minutes and felt REALLY flat. But once the gun went off and I got a good start, it was okay. At the beginning I was able to ride right at the front, close some gaps and felt fine. Then I didn't concentrate for a bit and got squeezed to the back. It took me about four laps to get back to the front... A break went but I could not get it as I had just pulled or something, maybe I was just too tired. But Mike Eddy got in it and so we blocked like crazy. It was super, at times there were three of us at the front of the field and we did an effective job of shutting it down. Kenny won solo, Mike got 2nd and I was able to help Todd who won the field sprint. I tried to ride small gears (actually it was required as my legs were pretty toasty) and it worked. I never felt like I was dead.
