Comments: - Well, I drew all the fast guys so what was I going to do? I took the lead with one to go and tried to 'float' through the back straight but got passed by two guys in turn 3 and that was that.

- I tired to go off the front twice to no avail, I kept getting closed down hard.

- Instead of doing the 5 x 5 Cat 3 points race, I opted for the Cat 1/2/3 Championship race. Being rested for the Cat 1/2 race was MUCH better than in the past. I got off early with another CAt 3 rider. We stayed away for about 3 laps and I got the sprint for 5 points. Later I got off the front again with Kenney Williams and Jeffrey Crowfoot and we stayed away for another 3 laps and I got 3rd on that sprint. My 8 points were enough for 5th overall and that made me feel pretty good. What really bothered me was that when I was away with Kenney and Jeffrey, I could have nipped Jeffrey for 2nd and just did not go for it. I cold have been 4th if I did. Instead Jeffrey was 4th. Live and learn.
