Comments: Again, my legs felt pretty slow today... and starting out with a win and out is not exactly favoring someone who feels like that. I thought I might be able to go for 2nd or 3rd but the gaps opened up too quick and I never got back on and finished about 30' off the back.

Four advanced to the Keirin final and I squeaked by. Then in the final Aaron L was just being too big time and weaving back and forth like a crazy person so I lost motivation.

I was nowhere in the points race for the first two sprints but right _after_ the second sprint I saw a slowing and the bunch swung up track so I dove down low and took off. they let me go for a sec and suddenly I had half a lap. Then I had almost three quarters of a lap. After getting the next sprint I was still way up the road and tried to settle in for the long haul which in track speak is anything over a couple of laps - 15 more in my case.

At one point I was within 100 m of the bunch and entertained thoughts of lapping them but then they got the bell and sped up. this back and forth continued but I still finished about half a lap up. And I was tired!
