Comments: Shelley and I went for a ride with Andy G today and it was a fantastic afternoon. It's such a treat when you can start with less clothing…

We stopped for a few minutes in Kirkland and Then Andy got a flat climbing Juanita but otherwise no major setbacks.

We had a great time until we hit the Burke Gilman Trail. :( It was SO busy and by this time Shelley's behind was feeling the affects of our first outdoor tandem ride this year so all the bumps were a major distraction. Dang.

Kudos to her for hanging in there and to Andy for not getting too frustrated with all the crazy trail traffic. The last bit on Interlaken was an enormous relief and a very nice way to end the ride.

My back is not used to the tandem yet. We ride slightly larger gears and I'm pulling on the bars more and shifting around less and not sitting up to stretch at all so I got sore today.

I was so bold as to take my gloves and arm warmers off today. I know, crazy!
