William
William Oliver Criminale
29 November 1933 - 30 September 2020
My father was intensely proud. He would brag about my mother, my sister, and me at every opportunity. He was also very much in love with my mother. So much so that even though she died in 1988, he was never able to start a new relationship. I think he felt that if he did, he would somehow be unfaithful to her.
Bill lived a great life most of the time that he was alive. He loved his work, never wanted to retire, and loved his children. He tried to take care of everyone, it was his nature.
The last few years of his life were spent somewhat in isolation but he also loved his routines and wouldn't have it any other way. Finally, we had to move him to Aegis Living when he wasn't able to care for himself. He died in his apartment with Lucca by his side. I showed up minutes later.
We scattered Dad's ashes next to Mom's.
Here are some pictures of William in no particular order.Â
